Tilly & Salvy's Bacon Street Farm

100 Bacon Street, Natick, Massachusetts

Editor's Notes

Tilly & Salvy’s Bacon Street Farm was started in 1938 when Tilly and Salvy Ciccarelli purchased a small shack and moved it to their farm on Bacon Street in Natick, MA. They grew and sold asparagus, strawberries, tomatoes and corn.

A small local market on the East side of town, the family-owned grocery and garden center is as convenient as they come. This applies whether you’re in need of some fresh lettuce for a salad or a bag of potting soil. Conveniently enough, they also offer propane tank exchanges for summer grilling.

In recent years, we say recent because they aren’t too far off from the century mark, Tilly’s has worked to expand it’s offering a bit, selling local baked goods, cheeses, and artisanal soaps, as well as adding a craft beer fridge and shelves stocked with wines, both local and imported.

What you can buy at Tilly’s

  • Fruits & Vegetables
  • Fresh Meats & Seafood
  • Prepared Meals
  • Garden Supplies
  • Baked Goods

It’s always great to see a Mom & Pop shop stay both in business, and just as importantly, in town, where hopefully they will remain for years to come.
