George's Pizza

Like Theo’s Pizza and Pizza Plus, George’s has the, “It’s gonna get packed in here on Middle School Release days” vibe down pat. You know the type of pizza joint we’re talking about, the pizza joints with the BMX bikes blocking the door to get in and the kids jumping over the orange, 70’s-style booths. The pizza joints where kids only order a basket of fries and a can of Coke. A hometown pizza joint.

Before George’s, it was Regal Pizza. But we are talking way back on this one, like mid 90s. George’s was a cash-only joint last time we were in there, so be warned.

Also, here’s a fun fact, George’s sponsors a local men’s softball team. But don’t ask us why you needed to know that, you probably don’t.

What to order:

If the old $5 large pizza deal still exists, go with that. If not, maybe a basket of fries like the kids.
