Taking over for Liberty’s Ice Cream is Baja Mexican Restaurant.
It started a mini explosion of mexican restaurants, as Mexicali and Sol De Mexico have come in since. I am not counting Margaritas because it is technically in Framingham. Although, I should probably count Taco Bell, Chipotle, and Moe’s Southwest Grill, and, the now-closed Blue Dahlia up at Wegman’s.

Crispy hard shell and soft street tacos make up most of Baja’s menu. They used to have a chorizo queso dip that was a delight, not sure if it is still on the menu. The restaurant’s size is also its charm.
What to order: Burrito Mojado w/ chipotle
I opt for the carnitas. Baja’s chipotle has a good flavor to go with the crispy carnitas.

Authentic Mexican entrees, reasonably priced tacos, and a pretty good queso dip make Baja a fine choice for a Sunday lunch.
